'HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES'

Artwork history & tech issues: A nearly year-old work, made exclusively for Poster competition. It was my first try with ink+ brush, I think, I'm quite satisfied with it. And despite the fact, that the beginnigs are always not-so-impressive, Ie won one of the first prizes [beginner's luck... or maybe there weren't so many participants ]. Made on A3 format- ink, brush, B3 pencil, drawing pen and black marker.

Misc: Being a fan of horrors, gory stories, grotesque and black humour, I just couldn't have missed Mr. Rob Zombie (Hail to the King!). First came his music... Secondly, there was his movie mumbo-jumbo- his newest productions are: "The House of 1000 Corpses" [to which the poster is dedicated] and "The Devil's Rejects". Although not scary at all (well, for me...) these masterpieces have an outstanding atmosphere- it is obvoius that they were made by fan for fans. If You liked 'The Texan Chainsaw Massacre'- the "House" is a must-to-watch! I just wish that we had real Zombie concert tour here, in Central Europe...
